The Varsity Softball team defeated Notre Dame 7-5 on Thursday improving their overall record to 7-0!

Olivia Dollard put St. Ignatius on the board in the bottom of the first.
The Wildcats added one run in the third after Dollard doubled to center field.
Notre Dame tied the game in the top of the sixth.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, St. Ignatius went back into the lead after
Delilah Berry tripled down the left field line, and Dollard doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Dollard earned the win for St. Ignatius. The righty gave up six hits and five runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out nine and walking six.
Cassidy Chew pitched one inning of scoreless ball for the Wildcats in relief. The reliever allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none.
St. Ignatius piled up 10 hits in the game. Dollard drove the middle of the lineup, leading St. Ignatius with two runs batted in. The pitcher went 3-for-4 on the day. Berry and
Gianna Galarza each collected multiple hits for the 'Cats.
