Football Celebrates Seniors with a Statement Win Versus Bellarmine

FB SR Day

The Wildcats had plenty to celebrate on Friday night at J.B. Murphy Field. In front of a packed crowd, St. Ignatius honored 50 seniors from the football program, along with senior aides, sports medicine student aides, pep band members, and dance and drill team seniors for their dedication and leadership.

St. Ignatius backed up the celebration with one of its strongest performances of the season, shutting out Bellarmine College Prep 28–0. Senior running back Luke Tribolet led the way with 129 rushing yards and a touchdown on just 15 carries, and also caught a touchdown pass. The offense found its rhythm early, and the defense held firm all night to secure the team's first home win of the season.

Women's Tennis Shines On and Off the Court in Palm Springs

TENNIS Palm Springs

The Wildcats traveled south to Palm Springs last weekend and returned home with memories and a big win. Competing against top Southern California programs, the team demonstrated both skill and sportsmanship throughout the trip.

St. Ignatius capped off the weekend with a hard-fought victory over previously undefeated Palm Desert High School, earning praise from coaches for their grit and composure in the desert heat. Earlier in the trip, the Wildcats faced Xavier Prep, where the match turned into a true display of Ignatian spirit — highlighted by a post-match team dinner between the two Jesuit schools.

The Wildcats return home ready to carry that energy into the final stretch of the season.
