SI Athletics Celebrates College Athlete Recognition Day

On Tuesday, February 3rd, St. Ignatius Athletics celebrated College Athlete Recognition Day, recognizing senior student-athletes who will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
This recognition celebrates the work these student-athletes have put in throughout their time at SI, both in competition and in the classroom, as they prepare for the next step in their athletic careers.

Women's Basketball Celebrates Senior Night with Win Over SHC

St. Ignatius Women's Basketball celebrated Senior Night on Tuesday with an 83–40 victory over Sacred Heart Cathedral, honoring six seniors for their contributions to the program.
Congratulations to Mary Ennis, Hayley McGee, Sophia Sanchez, Noelle Lawson, Tatum Conroy, and Julia Alcantara for their dedication to Wildcat Basketball.
The Wildcats are now 2–0 against Sacred Heart Cathedral this season and will look to close out the week with a matchup against Mitty on Friday, February 6.
Women's Soccer Honors Seniors in Home Win Over Valley Christian

The Wildcats earned a 2–1 victory over Valley Christian on Wednesday, with both goals scored by Senior, Ava Humphreys, marking a special Senior Night for the Women's Soccer program as 12 seniors were recognized prior to the match.
The senior class includes Taylor Bellotti, Lauryn Brugioni, Emily Alvarez, Giulia Bryant, Gussie Robillard, Alva Fahlgren, Ava Humphreys, Elise Abbott, Riley Hartnett, Alexandra Villalta, Norah Aldrich, and Sophia Vlahos, who have each contributed to the program during their time at SI.
With the win, the Wildcats sit second in the WCAL standings and will close out league play with remaining matches against Presentation, St. Francis, and Mitty
Wildcat Football Honored at City Hall for Historic Season

The St. Ignatius Wildcats football team was recognized at City Hall on Tuesday, where District 4 Supervisor Alan Wong presented the program with a Certificate of Honor celebrating its historic 3AA State Championship season.
Seniors Sebastien Connelley, Steve Malone, David DeLucchi, Harrison Walters, Ty Hicks, and Santiago Dyer-Ramirez accepted the honor alongside Head Coach JaJuan Lawson and SI President Joe Vollert.
