Bio:
Coach Kevin Sullivan helped create the SI Sens Club Rugby Team in 2023. He spent the 2023-2024 season as an assistant coach and made the transition to Associate Head Coach, alongside Coach Kevin O'Connor, during the 2024-2025 season. Coach Sullivan graduated from St. Ignatius in 2013 where he was a member of two CCS Champion football teams. He played for San Francisco Golden Gate rugby club from 2007 to 2013, and went on to play on the Cal Varsity Rugby team from 2013 to 2018. After graduating from Berkeley, Sullivan signed with the NOLA Gold professional rugby team in 2018. He spent five years playing in New Orleans and was the 28th player in Major League Rugby to reach 50 "caps", or games played. Sullivan's coaching career began in 2019 when he helped coach NOLA Gold's youth rugby program in New Orleans East. He also coached the Harahan River Coyotes mens rugby club in 2021 and 2022. With coach Sullivan's help the SI rugby team was able to finish 3rd in Northern California, and achieve a 17th place ranking in the nation in its inaugural season.
