Bio:
Angelique Boccara or "Coach Lique" is a proud SF native, an SI alum, and a coach in every sense of the word. From a young age she knew her purpose was to coach and develop those around her to reach their full potential - both on and off the court. Playing basketball since the age of 5 - she's played in every league you could imagine (AAU, CYO, PAL). As an inner-city youth, she grew up as a member of the SF Lady Rebels which afforded her the opportunity to attend and play at St. Ignatius. Angelique graduated St. Ignatius in 2004 and went on to play collegiate ball.
Angelique has coached High School basketball since 2010. She started her coaching career working as an assistant to her former coach at SI, Julianne Guevara (SI Class of "94) at St. Joseph Notre Dame High school. She then went to serve as Asst. Coach to Maya Fok at Urban high school of San Francisco. In addition, Coach Lique has coached for both the SF Rebels, and the OC AAU girl’s basketball programs.
When she is not coaching basketball, she leads a global Concierge Service which serves some of the largest credit card brands, fortune 500 organizations, and financial institutions. Angelique also runs her own basketball program and leadership nonprofit, “She Got Game” which works to develop women leaders through basketball instruction and competitive play. Lastly, Coach Lique spends a lot of time caring for her 10-year-old nephew, Semaj, whom she adopted several years ago. Coach Lique's love for the game is unmatched, but her greatest passion is to see the impact the game has on the development of the young women who play for her. She is so excited to return to SI and continue its legacy of exceptional girl's basketball.
